Since Today is Easter Sunday, I thought I’d share an Easter post…
Maybe should have posted like last week instead but oh well.
Use sachets of koolaid to dye your eggs. Not sure where I found this image but look how cute and vibrant the colours are!!
LEGO EASTER EGGS!!
how cool are these, simply glue little mints onto the egg and paint.
NO MESS EGG DYE
Next, a mess free way to dye your eggs also giving it a pattern in the meantime. What you will need is: some rice, a container, food colouring, water and some cling film. Put the rice in your chosen container and add a few drops of your chosen colour of food dye. Add a small amount of water (more can be added if necessary) then add the egg. Cover the container with cling film ( or a lid) and shake. Finally carefully remove the egg
Draw or print out a template of a bunny
Trace this onto different coloured/patterned card and cut them out. Stick on balls of cotton wool for a tail. Attach to string/ribbon and hang on the wall or on the fireplace.
- Blow up a water balloon or a small balloon
- Dip coloured/pre dyed string in PVA glue
- Wrap the balloon in the string and wait for it to dry
- Pop the balloon
- Place in a bowl or feed string through multiple ones to make a string egg bunting
Peace Out x
